"We took a quick visit to the park last week and as a result are even more stoked to race at our newest venue," said Casey Northern, race organizer. "Killer trails, what should be an epic last stretch to the finish line, and every category will be stoked with their track. All that and it's nestled in a stunningly beautiful spot."
Round 5 hits Silver Mountain Bike Park July 14 and 15.

About Tamarack Bike Park
Photo: Tamarack Resort
Tamarack Bike Park is located on the shores of Lake Cascade in Idaho. The bike park is serviced by the Tamarack Express chairlift which accesses 1,700 vertical feet of terrain. The bike park features everything from flowy beginner trails, rock and wooden features and rugged expert terrain. There are more than 20 miles of trail with all of them ending at the Tamarack base area. There, bikers can cool off with a food and a beverage on the outdoor patio of Seven Devils.
Tamarack made an initial investment of $2-million in its downhill and cross-country bike trails when it reopened last season after nearly a decade-long hiatus. Recently, the team of the Tamarack Bike Park has been working on improving and growing the existing trail network. Technical trails like Hibernator and Smokejumper have seen significant refurbishments. And, the smooth and flowy trail, Hockey Mom, reopened last summer.
New trails like Paperboy and Lower Lupine were created last summer for some lower mountain variety for beginner and intermediate riders.
All this work hasn’t gone unnoticed. Riders in the region voted Tamarack the No. 4 bike park in the Northwest in our annual Riders’ Choice Awards.
Tamarack Bike Park opens to the public on Saturday, June 24.
