2017 Colorado Freeride Festival Downhill Events
AIR DOWNHILL | Thursday, 4 p.m. @ Upper Rainmaker
A Colorado Freeride Festival classic. The Air Downhill is a test of a rider’s ability to charge a flowy, berm-filled, world-class course on Rainmaker, Trestle's premier jump trail. This race will take place from Upper Rainmaker to the 5 Points Intersection and spectators can watch from the start or along the course (bike and hike-in access required). Click here for course map.
SUPER DOWNHILL | Friday, 10 a.m. @ Shy Ann
With the popularity of enduro racing, super-D has been overshadowed, but the Colorado Freeride Festival is bringing back this heart-pounding test of skill and endurance! Think of this race as a single stage enduro where the athletes race from the top of Trestle Bike Park to the base, from Shy Ann into The Boulevard. Best spectating will be along the course (requiring lift access) and at the finish area. Click here for course map.
GREEN HORN-IT! CHALLENGE | Friday, 4 p.m. @ Green Horn-It!
CFF is offering racing for all ability levels and igniting a passion in kids for the sport we love. Check out the junior racers and cheer them on to fame! This race, which is held on Trestle’s introduction trail Green Horn-it!, is geared for beginner/novice racers and is a great way to initiate them into the fun and excitement of downhill mountain bike racing. Whether it be on a balance bike, 16, 18 or 20-inch wheels, let the children race! This race does not require a lift ticket as it is accessed via the Village Cabriolet.
DOWNHILL | Sunday @ 11:15 a.m. @ Trestle DH
This race will determine the fastest racer in the festival. This race will showcase some of the nation’s fastest, fittest and most technical mountain bike athletes battling it for the fastest time. Spectators can watch from the start of courses, on-course (bike and hike-in access required), or at the finish in the Festivillage. Starting on Trestle DH, and finishing on Bear Arms and Space Ape, this run will test technical skill. Click here for course map.
