CHARLEMONT, MA – The organizers at Eastern States Cup have attained one of the most advanced timing systems for downhill racing and they are looking to test it out this Sunday, November 5th, at the Fort Hill DH Fall Finale at Thunder Mountain Bike Park. This timing system will allow them to give multiple split times in a race, much like you would see on the World Cup Circuit.
VERNON, BC – Silver Star Bike Park has announced its second annual Frosty Fox Fat Bike Festival on Saturday, February 25. The festival will include access to cross-country fat bike trails as well as a downhill challenge course, exclusive to Frosty Fox participants and. of course, racing. There will be Beginner, Amateur and Pro Categories and additional prizes for best costume.
WHISTLER, BC – The Whistler Mountain Bike Park has announced the 2nd annual Whistler Spring Classic Enduro on May 27 and 28, 2017. As the second stop on the six stop North American Enduro Tour (NAET) and also an Enduro World Series (EWS) Qualifier, the Whistler Spring Classic will feature a new two-day format and a $3,000 prize purse.
BARTLETT, NH –Attitash Mountain Resort will host the third race in its "Double Down DH" race series Saturday, September 17, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The local race series is open to anyone and will feature pro and amatuer divisions with a pro cash purse and prizes for amateur podium finishers. Winners are chosen based on the best of two runs.
GRANBY, CO –The third race in the Loose Gravity Series, the "Downhill Mashup" descends upon Granby Ranch this Sunday, September 11. The two-stage event will take racers down two different timed tracks, combining the scores for an overall that will count for the win.
Silver Mountain, ID – It ws a scorcher in Kellogg, ID last weekend as the Silver Mountain Series Downhill Race #3 took place. But that didn't stop more than 50 riders from showing up to turn in some fast times and see how they fared among other racers. As the temperatures rose, coolers filled with ice cold water and frozen popsicles kept everyone nice and cool while they waited for their shot on the course.
