Winter Park, CO – Aug. 2, 2011 – The third day of competition at 2011 Crankworx Colorado at Winter Park Resort's Trestle Bike Park was nothing short of spectacular. The Cross Country mountain bike race started the day testing the strength and endurance of men and women of all abilities. By 1:00pm, spectators began pouring in around the slopestyle course, designed for optimal visual impact, as the best freeride athletes took their turn during the Slopestyle Finals. Though the sun provided blue skies, the wind played a factor, causing delays and challenges during Finals and Super Finals. Finally, the day wrapped with guests and athletes surrounding the Village Pond for the second Intergalactic Pond Crossing Championships. As expected, Saturday was a fan favorite at 2011 Crankworx Colorado.
