This week our hard working Trail Crew set out to fix a problematic berm after the new section of Westridge. The once too flat and too tight berm is now fully ripable and leads you into two new jumps. The first of which is a step-up and the second is double roller style. That’s right, more new jumps!
Mountain Creek, NJ – Just released for the Mountain Creek Gravity East Series race next weekend... the 2014 GES Course Map. The crew has taken into consideration the feedback received on last year's course, and have laid out a new course combining some of the mountain's most popular natural downhill trails. This should make for a fun and challenging race course for all ability levels and improve the overall flow and fun of this year's race... And yes, the ProGRT finish jump will be in the course for the advanced riders.
Sunday River, ME (Summer 2014) – Back by popular demand, the Mountain Bike School at Sunday River Resort will continue to offer lessons this summer to kids and adults looking to learn new skills or take their riding to the next level. The Mountain Bike School, which opened for the first time last summer, was designed around lessons that help students work on skills and techniques used in cross country and downhill mountain biking. A dedicated pump track serves as the school's beginner classroom. Classes are available starting Thursday, June 26, and take place Thursdays through Sundays (and holidays including July 4 and Labor Day) until Labor Day Weekend.

Angel Fire Bike Park, NM – I have been counting down the days until the DH season opener all winter, and it almost didn't happen. Angel Fire was poised to open Friday May 16th, but the 14 inches of snow they received on Tuesday almost closed it down. With a solid trail crew, and a good turn out of gravity patrons, the park opened on time with only a few upper trails closed.
Mountain Creek, NJ – The 2014 Spring Classic, Eastern States Cup, USA Cycling ProGRT stop #2 at Mountain Creek is a wrap. Congrats to all of the racers and top finishers. It was a dramatic finish to an amazing weekend as Neko started off the pro men races holding the hot seat for the entire race until the end, when Aaron Gwin in the top seed edged Neko out in the last run of the day! Bryce, VA – After a big push this spring to get things dialed for the 2014 bike season, and a short delay due to ongoing maintenance of its chairlift, the Bryce Bike Park was still able to get an early start on the season when it opened for riders this weekend.
