WHISTLER, BC – Whistler Blackcomb announced today plans for a $345-million (approx. $264m USD) long-term strategic three-phase expansion dubbed "Renaissance." The plans call for improvements ranging from electric ATVs and snowmobiles for children to a bridge connecting Whistler's peaks, but only one we're truly concerned with: more than 30 miles of new downhill trails in the Whistler Mountain Bike Park.

VERNON, NJ – Mountain Creek Bike Park announced today an early 2016 opening day of Saturday, April 2. Thanks in part to a particulalry dry East Coast spring, that's a full month ahead of last year's May 2 opening.
GRANBY, CO – Bike Granby Ranch will host its first annual Granby Ranch Meltdown this Sunday, March 27. The last day of the ski season will host the mountain's first downhill bike race on snow, taking competitors down Dragon Lady, a trail groomed for the race with snow berms, rollers jumps and other features.
ROXBURY, NY – Plattekill Mountain announced that it will partially open its bike park this weekend, March 19 and 20, while still operating skiing and snowboarding on select runs. Tickets will be $35, giving riders acces to any discipline they choose. The mixed-use soft opening makes it the first bike park to open for the season in North America, year-round resorts not withstanding.
