Bromont Bike Park is a two-time Top Five winner in the MTBparks.com Riders' Choice Best Bike Parks Awards for the Eastern Canada Region.
Recognized for its trails that challenge the skills of expert riders, Ski Bromont earned itself the prestigious Best Bike Park – Eastern Canada title this winter, an honour awarded by MTBparks.com. As it pursues the development of its downhill trails for elite riders, the resort is also hard at work developing accessible runs for novices.
What to Expect Riding Bromont Bike Park
By way of further enhancing the experience of all riders, Ski Bromont is happy to bring riders a Mountain Bike School. Similar to its Ski School, the Ski Bromont Mountain Bike School offers private and group lessons to both novices who want to try out the sport for the first time and experienced riders who want to hone their technique. The new school is made possible through a partnership with Dirt Camp, the best known bike camp in Quebec and the oldest in Canada.
Several initiation days to introduce people to mountain biking will be offered during the season. Rocky Mountain Initiation Sessions include the rental of the bike and protective gear, one lift ticket, one lesson and the presence of a certified instructor on the trails. Visitors to the Ski Bromont Water Park can also try their hand at mountain biking; Ski Bromont loans them a bike, free of charge, so they can enjoy the Grande douce trail.

The Bromont Mountain Bike Park features many trails ranging from easy to extreme. On the easier side, La Grande Douce (trail no. 21) is a green trail, categorized as easy, and is a good choice for introducing beginners to the sport. It crisscrosses the mountain for 4.5km, allowing less experienced cyclists to venture over an extensive dirt trail network. Trail no. 56 contains all elements of a downhill trail, while classified Green (easy).
And for those looking for more of a challenge, you can give Rock n’ Roll (difficult) a try with more winding technical trail littered with ledge drops. Bromont recently added another trail to their network, trail #56, also known as “La Ligne Verte" on the Versant du Lac. This trail becomes the resort's second “green” trail. At 3.5 km, La Ligne Verte has all the technical features typical of downhill trails: burms, roots, and wooden features. As an "easier" trail, #56 is more accessible and more forgiving, making it an excellent choice for anyone seeking an introduction to downhill mountain biking (DH).
Bromont, Quebec – Bromont Bike Park will be hosting the Quebec DH Championships this weekend to determine who is the fastest descender in the province. In addition to the bragging rights race on Sunday, the park will also be hosting the 3rd and final stage of the Circuit B-Maaxx on Saturday.
Bromont, QB — Ski Bromont, the largest mountain bike park in Eastern Canada, is hosting an event that will surely become a tradition: "The Bromont Classic." The weekend’s events include dual slalom and downhill racing, as well as an airbag session and a party thanks to the help of Maaxx Events.
