Red River Resort Overview
Red River is a small mountain town just north or Taos and Angel Fire, New Mexico. While not known for epic downhill trails, you'll find a network of old-school cross-county routes all around the mountain that are great for both pedaling or downhill adventures.
If you're looking for a laid back, western, family getaway, and you want to enjoy a mix of biking, disk golf, hiking, horseback riding and tubing (yes - tubing), Red River is worth a visit. (Not to mention that Angel Fire is right down the road if you need a little more Gnar in your trip.)
They offer lift-access mountain biking at Red River, so bring your mountain bikes and explore the mountain's variety of trails. If your family vacation requires a little something for everyone, and not everyone wants pure downhill adventure, this is your spot. While you're in the area, be sure to check out the Enchanted Forest XC center if you're looking for even more trails to explore.
Red River Ski Area nestled in the beautiful Carson National Forest located in northern New Mexico.
