Dropping over 5,000 vertical feet in 17 miles from Packer Saddle to Downieville, the Downieville Downhill is one of the longest and most demanding downhill mountain bike races in the United States. This prestigious race course follows the paths of the Sunrise Trail, Butcher Ranch Trail, Third Divide Trail and First Divide Trail. It's big, it's bad and it's beautiful.
In addition to the Downhill Race, there is also a 29 mile Cross Country Race and an All-Mountain Race which requires racers to complete both races on the SAME BIKE.
