Los Alamos, NM – Pajarito Bike Park is hosting their annual Ullr Fest this Saturday, which also means it is the last day the lifts will run for the 2013 riding season. The lifts only operate a handful of days each summer, so riders have to take advantage of every day they do run. The trail network that makes up Pajarito Bike Park is impressive, especially when you consider it was created by local volunteer rippers who continue to maintain the trails. The trail builders are well on their way to recovering from the devestating Las Conchas fire that took place in 2011. Trails have been cleared, some have been rerouted, and there have even been some new trails built.
Head out to Los Alamos for the day to enjoy some great trails then take advantage of the fun offered at Ullr Fest including some live music, nine New Mexican craft breweries and a costume contest.
