Mammoth Lakes, CA - Whether or not you've been to Mammoth Mountain's Bike Park before, you may be surprised at what you find. The Bike Park staff has been working tirelessly to find new ways to pack the trails full of fun by regularly adding new features and improvements. Young or old, novice or expert, Mammoth has been striving to accommodate the interests and abilities of all mountain bike riders.
In this week's "The Mountains Are Calling" webisode (below) Kalyn Lepre checks in with Trail Crew Supervisor Keith Roberts and gets the dirt on what's new at the Mammoth Mountain Bike Park. There are so many new developments with this downhill mountain bike playground that they are too numerous to cover here or in the video. Keith does mention a few of the newest creations such as the Twilight Zone paver block snake run, the Pipeline motocross style kickers and the Discovery Zone Bike Skills training grounds, which has proven to be a great place for novice and advanced riders alike to become more familiar with some of the very unique riding conditions and features offered at Mammoth.
Trail Crew Supervisor Keith Roberts also offers up some key trail riding tips and advice for making your Mammoth Mountain Bike Riding experience more fun and safer than ever. With the return of the Kamikaze games to Mammoth and all the great trail improvements in the Bike Park now is a great time to get back in the saddle and take another look at one of the most exciting mountain bike destinations in the world.
