Boyne Highlands Bike Park Overview
From scenic views to exhilarating challenges, Boyne Highlands offers choices for every rider. For a challenging ride, hop on the chairlift to access Michigan's only lift-served bike park at Boyne Highlands and be ready for a fast moving experience. Modeled after the popular North Shore designs of the upper northwest and Vancouver areas, the Bike Park features naturally cut mountain biking trails with banked turns, heart-stopping jumps and narrow passages that require expert maneuvering. New this summer is the Skills Park which is designed to introduce beginning and novice mountain bikers to the freeride and downhill elements that are found in our Bike Park. Elements are designed to inspire confidence for riders of all ages and include a flow track with berms and rollers, skinny bridges, a teeter-totter, ladder features, a small drop and more!
If rolling terrain is what you seek tour miles of single and wide track cross country trails through woodlands for views of Little Traverse Bay and the Pleasantview Valley. For those seeking a leisurely scenic ride, take a ride on wide and wooded trails rated as easy and enjoy some beautiful scenery and catch a glimpse of wildlife.
In addition to the resort's extensive offering, Boyne Highlands offers many additional nearby biking opportunities. There are five access points to the North Country Trail suitable for biking within 10 minutes of the Main Lodge. The Little Traverse Wheelway offers fantastic views of Little Traverse Bay and easy access to the quaint downtown districts of Charlevoix, Bay Harbor, Petoskey, Bay View and Harbor Springs as it winds 26 miles from Charlevoix to Harbor Springs. Plus our sister resort Boyne Mountain, offers over 32 miles of mountain bike trails including a seven mile paved loop that tours the resort.
