The Grand Traverse, one of Vail’s signature and most popular mountain biking trails, returns for 2014 and offers bikers iconic summer views of the legendary Back Bowls and the surrounding mountain ranges. The trail, along with the Kinnickinnick and Sunlight hiking trails had been closed in recent years due to construction projects including The 10th, Gondola One, and the Mountain Top Express Lift (#4).
Vail is an amazing place for mountain biking. Surrounded by miles of trails, both on Vail Mountain and in the surrounding area, explore your way to breathtaking views and a great ride.
Trivia: Vail long ago hosted two Mountain Bike World Championships.
