Durango Mountain Resort Overview
Take your bike with you to the top and access miles of bike trails for all ability levels from the base or via chairlift. From scenic novice loops to the challenging 1990 World Mt. Bike Championship Trail, Purgatory is perfect for exploring the spectacular Hermosa Valley, or getting in some screaming downhill. Our trail map details 10 distinct rides. You'll experience the natural beauty of the area with mixed spruce and aspen forests, wildlife and grass and wildflower meadows as you traverse the mountainside.
For those who seek more adventurous rides, test your "flow" riding skills on the pump track or time yourself on our mountain bike short track. The Durango Devo Coca-Cola Bike Park is conveniently located in the base area and is a source of great fun for participants and spectators alike.
