DURANGO, CO –Purgatory Mountain Resort will host an "MTB Festival and Flow Trail Race" on Saturday, September 10 to celebrate the one-year anniversary of its Divinity Flow Trail. The celebration will include a cross-country ride as well as a race on the flow trail.
DURANGO, CO – With a history rich in mountain biking including hosting the first UCI World Mountain Bike Championships in 1990, and being located just outside the fat-tire destination of Durango, many have scratched their heads in recent years as to why Purgatory Resort didn't offer much in the way of lift-served mountain biking. Sure, you could load a bike on the chairlift and access cross-country trails, but there wasn't much in the way of an actual bike park or gravity offerings. But that's all about to change.
