What to expect riding Silver Star Bike Park
Silver Star Mountain Bike Park boasts more than 49 miles (79km) of combined downhill and cross-country mountain biking trails. A signature feature of Silver Star Bike Park's downhill runs is that all the runs are top-to-bottom distinct trails instead of short pieces of trail that intersect logging roads.
The downhill bike park features more than 30 miles (50 km) of dedicated mountain bike trails, over 600 berms and more than 300 jump features. The park's longest run is the 4.5-mile (7 km) Paradise trail, a wide, hard-packed trail from mountaintop to village. The cross-country bike trails include more than 18 miles (29 km) of progressive trails with an 18.6-mile (30 km) expansion planned to be finished for the 2015 season. A progressive mix of green, blue and black tree trails makes for an exciting combination of riding for any level of mountain biker.
The Comet Six Pack Express is Canada’s largest mountain bike lift, taking bikers to 1,600 vertical feet of great riding terrain. The high-speed detachable lift is fitted with roll-on bike carriers and has a ride-time to the top of less than eight minutes.
