Fernie Mountain Bike Park Overview
Look no further than Fernie, B.C. for some of the best mountain biking in Canada.
With a fun little town and a big network of trails for all levels, Fernie Alpine Resort is a bit of a mountain biking secret stash. Terrain runs the gamut from perfect beginner trails to freeride terrain and steep, rocky, technical downhill mtb singletrack. Two chairlifts let riders access almost the entire of the lower mountain, and XC trails offer a variety of loops. Camps, clinics, lessons, and equipment rental are available.
Fernie Alpine Resort is in the town of Fernie, BC less than an hour north of the US border-Roosville crossing (north of Kalispell MT), and 3.5 hours southwest of Calgary, AB.

Fernie, BC - Fernie Alpine Resort wrapped up it’s summer season by proudly hosting the Fernie Legendary Summer BC Cup Race over the long Labor Day weekend. It was the final of the BC Cup Downhill Race Series plus a sanctioned Alberta Cup race. Benny Jacques took the Elite Women’s podium and Chris Kovarik won the Men’s Elite category.
